1. | Choose File > Reduce File Size. |
2. | Select the earliest version with which your files must be compatible, and click OK. The options produce the following results: |
| • | | Acrobat 6.0 and Later, creates the smallest file size, but limits readership to users with Adobe Reader 6.0, Acrobat Standard 6.0, or Acrobat Professional 6.0 or later. |

| ΓÇó | | Acrobat 5.0 and Later, somewhat reduces the file size and accommodates readers using Acrobat 5.0. |
|
| • | | Acrobat 4.0 and Later results in a larger file size than either of the other two options, but offers the maximum compatibility with older versions of Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. |
